Concept

This personal project is a speculative advertisment for KeePassXC, an open-source password managment software. It is part of my initiative to learn Cinema4D & Redshift, and show off my motion-design skills.

I've chosen KeePassXC because it is a community-built software that I use everyday. It's current branding is basic, and relies on stock images, which inspires me to elevate it's aesthetic with clean, professionally designed 3D animation.

This project is still on-going.

Style frames

These scenes were designed and rendered using Cinema4D & Redshift. The aim was to show off KeePassXC's capabilities, whilst evoking a feeling of safety, simplicity, and approachability.

Storyboard & Animatic

For this storyboard and animatic, I've used Blender's grease-pencil feature. This allowed me to mix hand-drawn & 3D elements, and manipulate the timeline with efficiency.
