VR Sculpting
What is VR Sculpting?
VR sculpting is a way of creating 3D art using virtual reality. Instead of sculpting with clay or using a mouse and screen, you wear a VR headset and use hand controllers to "sculpt" in a virtual space around you.
It feels like drawing or shaping objects in mid-air—you can move around your sculpture, change its size, push and pull on forms, carve into them, or build them up, all in real time. It’s an intuitive and physical way to create digital art.
Adobe Medium
Programs like Adobe Medium make it feel natural—almost like working with real clay. It’s used by artists, animators, game designers, and more to explore ideas and create characters, environments, or abstract forms.
It’s especially powerful because it blends the flexibility of digital tools with the freedom of hand-based sculpting. And it’s accessible even if you’re not trained in 3D modeling.
