Watercolor Watch

Concept
As a teenager commuting to school on the TTC, I wanted a way to paint with watercolors during my rides. Being an artsy student, I needed something portable and practical—so I decided to invent it.
The first prototype was crafted from an aluminum mint tin, epoxy-glued onto a stretchy wristband. Years later, I revisited the idea and redesigned it using 3D printing, making it lighter and easier to produce in multiples. I eventually sold this updated version at my college’s art market.
Usage
The watercolor watch works best paired with a refillable water brush, allowing me to paint on the go without needing a water cup or extra surface space. It's ideal for travel sketching, transit doodling, or spontaneous painting sessions. Someday, I hope to develop this idea into a more polished product.
